I had my hysterectomy May 26, 09 w/bladder repair. Cervix left. My doctor did not give any of the medications to take. By nature I am not a crier. Lately I can not seem to quit, is it due to the hyst. or is it just me? Also sweating more than ever.

Sounds like hormones. It has been about a year since my TAH/BSO and I am just beginning to notice some hormonal things. Sometimes it happens right away and sometimes it takes awhile. Did you have your ovaries removed?
Call your doctor and get an appointment to talk about what it going on.

Not sure how you feel about using hrt or natural products. I've heard some good reports from ladies here of using Estroven or Estroblend (Walmart brand).
I have found that using natural progesterone cream has helped me a lot. They sell some right on this site or if you have a health food store near you might be able to get it there too.

I have really learned to get to know "me" over this past year. I am eating much better and exercising daily - that really helps me too.

I was really whiney (mine all came out the day after you!). I am still whiney. As a matter of fact, I started TRYING 1/2 or 1 mg of Estradiol yesterday because of a hissy fit I threw the night before over nothing. I am just so overwhelmed with my very physical job, ailing mother and , well anything. It helps me to preface the crying fit with, "I realize this is just hormones, but.............................

My hyst was 3 yrs ago abdominal partial I was doing fine until the past 2 weeks when I started feeling like my body was on fire coming and going and the tears just flowing down my face for no reason. I think this is it. I'm going to the dr today. Wish me luck.
