Diagnose Is In

Went to my obgyn today to get my refill for my HRT. I was diagnosed with Dysmenorrhea, Dyspareunia, Cin-1, Pelvic pain, left pelvic mass, Pelvic adhesions and Peritoneal adhesions. I had my TAH on April 20th of this year. I have to go back in February 2010 for another pap smear (to check to make sure cancer doesn't come back). Has anyone had this same diagnose?

Re: Diagnose Is In

Hi Tinkerbell,
Hopefully your surgery took care of the many conditions you've listed and you now find yourself pain free too.
We have some member who post in the CC forum concerning CIN dxs and you are most welcomed to post there re this. As you may have learned CIN-1 is considered a condition in which slightly abnormal cells grow on the thin layer of tissue that covers the cervix. These abnormal cells are not malignant but can become cancer. It is good you will be given pap tests, etc and I'm hoping you remain cancer free.
