Slipped & Fell.....Now Spotting

Hi Everyone,

Freaking out a little as I tend to be a hypochondriac sometimes. I am 6 weeks post-op today.

Two days ago, I slipped on the bathroom floor after getting out of the shower. Luckily I did not hit anything but the bathroom floor. However, it was a pretty good fall. I fell completely on my right hip and it has alot of cushion. :-0 My left front thigh muscle has been very sore as I must have stressed it trying to prevent the fall.

I now seem to feel pressure down there when I urinate and it was even a little painful urinating a couple of times. Then today I noticed some very minor spotting from my vagina. Bright red.

My hubby thinks a call to the dr is in order. But I have my 6 wk checkup on Monday (3 days away) and think I will be fine.

Any advice? Thanks in advance!!!!!

Ouchie!

Whenever you have new pain and symptoms, or just have a concern, feel free to call your doctor! That is what your is for! Your doctor can then let you know if you should come in sooner, take it easy until your upcoming appointment, or if what you are experiencing is fine!

Let us know what you find out!

I agree, you should call your doc and at least let the doctor be aware of what has happened. You poor dear, you and I had our surgery on the same day! Hope its nothing and you feel better soon!

I think a call to the Dr would be wise. He may tell you to wait till Monday, but just to make sure.

Feel better soon!!

Phone calls never hurt.......that is why we have doctors. Play it safe and make the call.
