What I love is all of this support I'm new but I already feel relieved I have some where to go for support, other women that will ecxept and understand what I'm about to go through.

What I love about HysterSisters? Let me count the ways! I love the sense of community, overwhelming support from other Sisters in every stage of our journey, and a forum to express any and every emotion without prejudice. I really think if it wasn't for the web site, too many women would not get the help they need. That could have tragic consequences! I am thankful for the site and really feel as if I matter and am connected to others - and who doesn't like to feel loved, right?

What I love is that this wonderful place exists! I have been in pelvic pain for a LONG time, and recently had an MRI that shows fibroids and other changes. While waiting for more test results I found HS and started reading. It is so comforting!!! Thank you, thank you, thank you. I don't have to be so scared, or feel so alone in making decisions!

What I love is that there are so many people here that can understand what you are going through, and giving so much love and support. I am so glad to have found you!

I love knowing that I am not ALONE and I feel like everyone on this website pays it forward. Even through all of this emotional and physical upheaval, we all have each other, and never, ever, will feel misunderstood by our sisters!

I will continue in my journey for wellness to stay on this site, and afterwards, because united we stand!

I love this site because who else will read about our hyster stories? Who will have stories to read and relate too? Everyone here is great, I have found even though I have been on here only a handful of times. Everyone is like family, even the we are cyber family.
Thank you so much for being here for me. You will see why I need you all if you read the thread I just added.

I love hystersisters for so many reasons; lately I've been able to find important information and support. This is the only site that really goes into the depths of hysterectomies and all that go with them. And the sisters -- well, fantastic!

My favorite thing is that it makes me feel like I am taking care of ME when I visit the site.
And that's what my recovery is about. So, instead of feeling guilty for not doing the dishes, or being at work, I can fill my time PRODUCTIVELY and help myself heal at the same time by visiting this site.
Its like active healing...and I don't feel unproductive or bored!

So, thanks Hyster Sisters for giving me something meaningful to do with my recovery time.

My favorite thing about hysterSisters is that they never ever let me down. Just reading about our other sisters experiences and feelings about pre op preperations that had to be made and knowing that there are others out there that have the same feelings and fears that I had. I was a basket case about my surgery but reading about the other sisters out there that have the same fears helped me cope. Post op threads were like others have the same things in their head that I did. Recovery for me was slow because of my incision not healing right and I had to be packed for weeks every day and there were so many others relating to the same thing I was like depression and fears and wondering if I would ever feel good again. Here I am 14 months post op and I dont think I would of made it without my fellow sisters ! I thank hystersisters and wish you many many more birthdays !

I love reading all of the helpful comments and stories, whether they are like mine or not. This is the only forum I have ever come back to for more. I LOVE this site. It has been my shoulder to cry on, and my way of helping others with my own experiences. To think what we would have without this, say before internet. I couldn't imagine. This is such a GREAT, WONDERFUL support system, I just can't say enough. thank you to all of you wonderful ladies.
