Re: DH acting strange

Kind of. He's been distant, and not really discussing anything with me. But he has been helpful. We'll see how it is when we get to the castle tomorrow morning.

PS Good luck to you!!! We're a day apart! I will look for your posts when I get back!

Re: DH acting strange

YES!!! - I bet your DH is at least as concerned about what is about to happen as you are, but operating with fewer resources to help him deal with it. This is tricky because you REALLY need looking after TODAY and you feel like you should be able to count on him. I had a conversation with mine that started with "My friends aren't here because they think you're looking after me well . . . . . ." which settled things enough and he was ok on the actual day of surgery, but we had a lot of things to sort our afterwards. He had time off work then, so there was time to do it. Good luck with your surgery and your DH.

Re: DH acting strange

Thanks girls! and JC I can't wait to her how you do. I have another funny story. You know that they say you have a lot of gas after surger and you need to pass it no matter where you are or who ever is in the room. My girlfriend and I got FLARP. It's this goop that is in a jar and when you push your fingers into it a big loud fart noise comes out. So we are going to have flart contests and no one will know if it me or the flart We got it at target. It's also great to have at work for thoughs stressful days.

Hey, you can use that to convince the nurses that you're good to go and can have solid food

Re: DH acting strange

My fiance was totally acting distant and strange. It really made me feel alone in this.

However, he has really turned a corner and is being more sweet and loving and compassionate than he has in quite a while. It kind of feels like when we first fell in love and makes me fall in love with him all over again.
