Bad couple of days...

Hi All,

I'm sorry but I need to whine for a bit. The euphoria that I was feeling with the scheduling of my hysterectomy wore off.

It's almost like the endo knows that I'm going to end it and it's causing as much havoc in my body as it can before I get rid of it for good (or rather for much longer than before). The medications aren't helping and even though I do not have any work to do tomorrow (I work at home) and I know that I won't get paid for it, I am happy because I just can't sit for any length of time.

Right now, I'm just sinking into the depression that I know is directly related to the disease. I'm grumpy and snapping at my hubby and my mother. I feel weepy and all I want to do is eat comfort foods which is bad because I'm a diabetic.

I know that I have to hold on for just two more weeks but right now that feels like it's 5 years away. It feels like it's 1 step forward 16 steps back.

I'm trying but it's so dang hard to keep smiling right now.

I am sorry you are feeling so bad. AF came around on me one last time before my lavh/bso. I had a new (ultimately the one that did my surgery) and his nurse told me he didnt prescribe pain killers. I thought I was never going to make it. However, I left a really depressing message and guess what!?!? He caved and gave me some good meds, LOL. I would call and ask for something stronger!

Thank you! I actually have 2 pain meds that I use daily. I think it's just more emotional than physical. My pain meds work pretty good and my doctor has no issues with making sure I am as painfree as I can be until surgery. Today is a better day. Two weeks until my LAVH and BSO! Can't wait!
