I'm sorry you're experiencing this and hope that any others, who can relate, will be along soon to share.

In the meantime, whilst you're waiting for replies, it may help you to try a Google Search of HysterSisters (towards the top right of every page) to find any similar threads.

Sending all good wishes and I hope you're feeling better very soon!

Re: Nerve problem

Where is your nerve problem? I am only nearly 3 weeks post-op and in week 1 of post-op I developed a burning & ripping sensation in my upper left thigh. I have had it before, but it would go away- this was constant. And my thigh was numb all over. It was also on the right side but not as severe. I google searched it on here and online and it is a condition called Meralgia Paresthetica Here is some info: http://emedicine.medscape.com/article/1141848-overview

I was told by my surgeon/operating GYN that it was a normal side effect of having my legs in stirrups and being in an inclined position for hours and that it should go away. I see you had your surgery in June, I would love to know more if you don't mind?? I am concerned about this becoming long term. Most of the pain has gone away but I still have some and some numbness. I just worry about it being an issue for the rest of my life. I still haven't driven yet and I'm scared to.
