internal infection and yeast infection

I had a tvh on aug. 5th, a week and a half later I got a yeast infection and went to dr.s for cream to relieve pain in butt literally. I then went to drs for 2 week checkup and found that my extreme backache was due to infection internally at stitches. I took 2 different antibiotics for it and went back to drs this week and he tells me that I am 80 percent healed and still have another 20 percent so come back again in 2 weeks. I am so ready to be healed now. It seems like I still have days like today that I just have no energy to do anything and other days I feel like I can do anything. So my question to you wonderful ladies is, has anyone else had an infection and how long were you set back? Thanks and Happy Healing to everyone. Hildy

Re: internal infection and yeast infection

I'm not that far along yet,so I don't really have any experience that would help. I'll be watching along with you for the replies. I remember reading somewhere recently that infections (UTI maybe) were most common at the 2 week mark.

I'm so sorry you had some setbacks but it seems like you are on the road to recovery now. I hope that the rest of your healing goes smoothly.
