sex feels like hubby is "bottoming out"

I had a complete hysterectomy and ovary removal in march 2009. I still have alot of pain during sex. some burning and what feels like scratching inside. also it feels like my husband "bottoms out" during sex. he cant go all the way inside without hitting something in there. is this normal? will both of these symptoms go away on their own? it is very hard to enjoy these times with all this discomfort. of course the dryness is also an issue but we have been dealing with that for a while now due to the medicine i am on for my prior breast cancer. i cant use anything with estrogen related items in it. how long does this pain take to heal. i know the dr told me i would heal slower due to my post meno stage caused by my medicine. i am 44 and would really like to enjoy sex again. any help from anyone would be greatly appreciated.

Red face - sex feels like hubby is "bottoming out" Re: sex feels like hubby is "bottoming out"

Has your dr. checked for scar tissue?
I haven't been able to be intimate since my surgury in July of '08. We've tried vaginal dialation, vagifem, & now I was just prescribed a cream. My doc said he's done over 1000 hysters in the past 10 yrs & he's never seen scar tissue probs. like this (just read abt them). If the cream & further dialation doesn't work, he said the O.R. is the next step. My vagina won't be funtional until all the tissue is removed; it is only open about an inch (if that). . . so you might want to find out if that could be your problem.
Hope this helps, and good luck!
