how long for estrace cream to work?

I have been using the cream since the end of July
We haven't tried to have sex since then because I am still afraid of the pain.
My gyn definitely said I had some atrophy, even the speculum hurt
has anyone else tried the cream and did it help?

I feel like I have a little more libido than before but the fear is still present

(((queenjean))) I haven't used Estrace cream, but have used Premarin cream and Vagifem. Both are also vaginal estrogen products. Both worked very well for me.

Perhaps you could, um, 'test the waters' yourself first, before attempting intercourse? That way you are in complete control and can stop if you are uncomfortable at all.
