What is your favorite feature of HysterSisters.com?

I haven't even had the hyster yet, but the pre-op forums have been an absolute Godsend. I have found MUCHO great information and it is helping me prepare better than I ever would have done on my own.

I found everything on this site so helpful through the whole process. There is soooooo much the drs don't tell you and you don't know to ask. I got so much more information here than my dr ever gave me about recovery. It made me feel strong being as informed as I could be and helped a lot to know what to expect and what was "normal" and what wasn't. Many thanks for this site!

Hystersisters has been a great deal of support for me. When you go through a hysterectomy the whole process is scary and having the support, information and anything else you need here for you is really nice. Thanks.

I checked it all, because, through this whole roller coaster ride, with its ups and downs, I, personally have utilized every one. God Bless This Site!!!!!!

This is a fantastic site, I feel a sisterly kinship with every woman on here! It's so weird! I feel like I have one thousand new close friends! The first time I posted a thread 3 days ago I got 40 replies !! 40 new friends in 1 day!!!

As I have just had my surgery 2.5 weeks ago, the Post-Op Checkpoints have been extremely helpful! I think I might have hurt myself doing too much had I not read them. Thank you for this site!!!

Having the support of so many women has been such a gift. I wish that out in the "real world" everyone could be this supportive of each other! Being able to come here and read or post in as much detail as neccessary is a very special thing....NOT something that I can do with anyone else aside from my doctors.

Hi Sisters!
I just came upon your wonderful site and was obsessing about finding information on what to expect, having been told I need to have a vaginal hysterectomy soon. What I have been reading has be extremely reassuring! My uterus and blatter have fallen after having had 3 very large children so I was concerned about the repairs also.
I am SO glad I found you all!

I'm very new to it but what I originally loved is, I would type in a question on google and it took me right to your sight. That's how I found you. The answer was very thorough. When I had another rather personal question...I googled it and it took me to you again... That's when I knew I found a wonderful place that would help me through this. I had my TAH/BSO 7/27/2010.
