What did you wear home from the hospital?

I am hoping some of the other Da Vinci ladies can help me with this one. Thanks!

Re: What did you wear home from the hospital?

In Florida, so it is warm. I wore drawstring waisted jersey capris (one size larger than my normal, and a 3/4 sleeve white tunic top. Worked great for me and my little swelly belly! Hope this helps, and blessings on your upcoming DaVinci!

Re: What did you wear home from the hospital?

great question!!!!!
I never thought about what to wear home. I guess my draw string PJ bottoms and a large T shirt and a large zip hoodie. I have over an hour drive home, so want to be comfy.
cant wait to see what everyone answers

Re: What did you wear home from the hospital?

I wore a pair of stretchy workout pants with a wide (and pretty loose) waistband, soft cotton tank top and slip-on Croc sandals. Was very comfortable, didn't have to bend over to put on my shoes and the pants didn't irritate my incisions.

Re: What did you wear home from the hospital?

Both of mine were abdominal but for the RSO loose elastic-waisted pants & tshirt, had a 10 minute ride home. Hyst was 70 miles away so I proudly wore my jammies home. Both times my most comfortable flip flops to avoid bending (also more comfortable for the walking they make you do). Let us know what you decide & hope all goes smoothly!
Hugs!

Re: What did you wear home from the hospital?

I wore an empire waist sun dress and sandals. the sandals were a mistake. they were only about an inch wedge, but that was still too high. plus, DH had to slip the heel strap on for me. should have just worn flip flops.

Re: What did you wear home from the hospital?

I went home with a Foley catheter, and didn't feel comfortable yet in pants when I was going home. I wore a very loose jumper and it was very comfortable. I made sure to wear slip-on shoes with no heels because I couldn't bend over to tie or buckle shoes and my balance wasn't up to par.

Re: What did you wear home from the hospital?

I wore home the same thing I went into the hospital in. Very loose elastic pants & a big t-shirt. Once home I lived in my night gowns for a few weeks. Then I wore drawstring pants for about 5 months because I had the swell belly really bad.
