Body temp

I have been having trouble regulating my body temp lately. I'm 11 days post op and in the mornings, I'm absolutely freezing! Today I covered up with 4 blankets, fell asleep, woke up 2 hours later in pools of sweat. Is this normal?

When I was in the hospital I would get cold. Doctor said it was from blood loss. Hot temp could be hormonal. Don't really know, you may want to ask your doctor. Also, check your temp and make sure you don't have a fever. Could be an infection.

Imalith,

I think it is hormonal since I had my ovaries removed and just started my premarin 2 days ago. The doctor is concerned about infection because I have a sore just inside my vagina, feels like skin ripped off a blister. He did a culture Thursday, I'm supposed to call Monday for results. I have to go back next Thursday again.
Even when I'm up and moving I'll go from hot to cold but I wouldn't call them hot flashes, more like a clammy feeling. Thanks for replying.

Karena
