GYN/PS have different rules...

MY GYN says no lifting 8-10 weeks. PS says 6-8 weeks. GYN- No driving 4 weeks. PS- says I can drive now (2 weeks tomorrow) My PS feels I should be starting to get back to normal life as much as possible. However, my GYN is telling me to continue to take it easy.

Who do you listen too? Right now I am trying to do a middle ground thing.

Re: GYN/PS have different rules...

I hate to say it, but you should probably take the longer of the two... The PS will probably had an earlier stop date for meds as that is crucial to bloodflow of dermal tissues for healing issues...

ultimately, how you feel will dictate much of when you can begin to do things and at the 8 week juncture, you may be feeling great so no need to go any longer... but only one chance to heal and I don't think I would push for the "just in case" scenarios...

best of luck, Kathy
