9 Days Post-op - Interior stitches starting to "pass"

Kinda strange to see, but I guess these are "passing" on schedule. The steri-strips look like they are clinging on for dear life and aren't going anywhere soon...

How do you know they are coming out? Mine still pull a bit. Also, when can the steri-strips come off? Mine are also pulling with the new hair growth.

Re: 9 Days Post-op - Interior stitches starting to "pass"

9 days post-op and your stitches are already passing? WOWZERS. Mine are giving me fits and I will be 3 weeks post-op Wednesday. I can feel mine pulling on the inside and my cuff, dear LORD, I can't wait until next week.

Regarding the steri-strip, if they are just hanging there and doing nothing for holding your incision closed pull them off. But if there is still tension on them and holding your incision closed then leave them on. I work in the sports medicine world and this is what the doctors tell us.
