Premarin versus Bio-Identical

I've been on Bio-Identicals, many different forms for 6 months and feeling really crummy. My Gyno Dr suggest Premarin and really thinks it's much better than Bio-Identicals. Have any of you gone from Bio to Premarin and how did it work for you.

Many women use Premarin successfully. If nothing else is working, it's worth a try.

What have you tried? How long did you give each method or change? One thing I would like to add is that for many of us finding balance during the early months post op is difficult at best. It is not unusual to still have symptoms while your body is recoverying from surgery and using up its stored reserves of hormones. Doesn't necessarily mean that the hrt you are using isn't working. I made the mistake of doing too much changing and tweaking during those early months, thinking that it just wasn't working. Knowing what I know now, much of what I was feeling was normal and I probably did not give those early things a fair shot.

I use Premarin and although I know I haven't found my correct dose, I haven't had any side effects from the med. It's better then the antibiotic I had to take.
