4 years post op still have one ovary

I am 4yrs PO and after I had mine, I gained alot of weight, went into depression and my sex drive went down the drain. I didn't want my partner touching me at all. It put a huge strain on the relationship. Time after time I would go to the dr to test my hormones, and they all came back fine. A year after my hyst I had to have my left ovary removed as it was laying on top of the vault so I still have my right ovary. Sometimes my libido is over the top and some times its, get away from me. I have tried talking to drs about it and they say your normal. What is normal anymore. I tried to go on the bloom study, but was turned down for some reason. I don't understand and I really wish I could get my passion back that I had before the operation.

(((kermit))) I'm sorry you're having problems with your libido. I believe the problem you had applying to the BLOOM study was because you still have an ovary and you still sometimes have a libido. I believe they are only looking for women who either have already gone through natural menopause or have had both ovaries removed, and who consistently have little or no libido.
