Testosterone for libido

Hi Everyone

I am 43yo almost 1 tear TAH and BSO with no libido and newly engaged to a wonderful man who nursed me through my surgery and long po period I just want my sex drive back(even half of it!) ...I was on estratest but I didn't think it helped. I am now on vivelle patch and estrace vaginal cream want to try a compound testosterone...any feedback is appreciated Thanks

Hi (((trish23))) has your DR checked your serum levels of free and total testosterone yet, to find out whether low testosterone might be causing your lack of libido? Also, it would be a good idea to have your lipids (cholesterol) and liver function checked before starting on testosterone, because testosterone can adversely affect both of those things.

Many women here have had good luck with compounded testosterone, myself among them. I used a 1% testosterone compounded cream with Vanicream as the base and liked it very much.
