Disolved internal sutures coming out.

Yup I went pee today and noticed when I wiped I had a real long, what looked like a piece of hair, but there is nothing that long down there...lol, that had a knot in the middle. I called doc and he said its normal. He said its disolvable sutures and some work their way out. Just wondering why they don't all absorb? I have my cervix, uterus and ovaries removed so I don't have a vaginal cuff, so these sutures are coming from way up there. Very internal ones.

Re: Disolved internal sutures coming out.

Its even more interesting that you had your cervix removed and you don't have a vaginal cuff . . . so, how did they close the top of your vagina?????
