Home recovering

I had my LAVH this morning, and am doing great. My surgery started at 7 am and out in recovery at 9:30. My surgery went well. I had a breathing treatment before my surgery for my asthma, that was great. The last surgery I had I didn't have one and I wish I would have. Highly recommend that! I came home around 2 this afternoon, and have been able to manage my pain with just advil. I do have a prescription for Percaset but I would like to not have to take it. I have been taking advil every 4 hours and things are going great. I am feeling good!

Re: Home recovering

Welcome home (((terrisa)))

I'm glad to hear that you are home safe and sound and that you are not having to deal with a lot of pain. That should make a very big difference in your recovery. I was fortunate in that respect as well. Please keep us updated if you can.

You may also want to check out our Recovery Progress Reports. This is a thread for women who have had their surgeries during the same week. Here is the one that pertains to your surgery date:

Re: Home recovering

Good to hear you're feeling well. Interesting about the breathing treatment. My son has asthma, so my ears perked up. What happened last time when you didn't have it?
