chemo 5 on board

Chemo #5 was given yesterday. All went well. Now I just have the small
brick in stomach feeling for four days. Before the ravenous appetite returns.
I only gained one lb this past cycle. Thank goodness. And the best news
of all was a CA125 of 9!!!! My first visit to the single digits. The end of the
intense treatment is really becoming a reality to me.

Oh my gosh, a NINE? That is fabulous!!! I'm so happy for you!! Things are coming to an end and before you know it this will be over and it will be time to REALLY celebrate!! That is great about the weight too!! You must feel like you're on cloud nine today!!

So glad that you aren't feeling ill from your treatments. Thats wonderful!! One more left right?
1 lb. eh........I bet you just have heavier clothes on. My weight is starting to get on my nerves. I have gained almost 30 lbs since finishing chemo in January. I think its the estrogen in a can that I am on myself... Gotta get using this treadmill that I bought on a more regular basis I think.
Again great news Karen! You are doing just fantastic.

Hi Karen! I am so happy for you!!!!! That 9 must make you ecstatic! I went for my checkup on Tuesday, and I only gained 3 pounds this round (yippee!) Chemo #6 comes tomorrow and then I am finished! I even have a little peach fuzz growing on my head. Imagine that. Anyway, just thought I would say Hi and congratulate you on hitting single digits, you are in my prayers!

WOW!!!! What a wonderful little number that is!

I bet you are ecstatic! So, one more to go right? I bet you are sooo excited also to get this over with, I remember being so impatient between the 5th and 6th round.

Hopefully right about now you're starting to get past that "icky" tummy portion and will enjoy the next couple of weeks before finishing it all up.
