Sharp Vaginal pains 5 weeks post op

Hi there! I had a TAH/BSO on October 8 and have been experiencing some sharp vaginal pains. They don't last long and they are pretty random. Have been seeing some stringy stitches being discharged.....are the pains from the stitches coming out? Any ideas or other experiences would be appreciated!!!

I remember having those. I referred to them as shooting vaginal pains and they freaked me out. I first felt them when I lifted something too heavy, just out of habit. They lasted about a day and a half then I'd feel them occasionally after that for a week or two. I figured it was the vaginal cuff after posting and getting responses. I never saw any stitches but would assume that as they were in the vaginal cuff it's all related. As always, if something worries you too much it can't hurt to call your doc.
