Wound overhang

3 months on, and from the side i still look like i have an elastic band round me at the wound site. i have a beach hol booked for january - help! will i ever be back to the shape i was?

Yes, you can definitely get back to where you were before. It can take a long time for that area to smooth out, however. My doctor informed me that it would be about a year. I am there right now and I still have just a touch of it left. At five months post op, you will likely feel ready for the beach! Take care!
