Hard spots along incision ~ would abdominal support help?

I noticed last night I have some hard spots along my incision, not sure what that is all about. I wonder if abdominal support would help? I am a queen sized woman and have some slight "belly hang". My incision is unfortunately under the bulge. Any suggestions?

Hi (((elderberryeyesp)))

It will just take time to smooth out--up to a year in fact, so please do not get discouraged. It is tissue that takes time to get back to normal.

If you are having back pain or the weight of the swelling is bothering you, I think that you may benefit from an abdominal binder. I liked using one for when I was on my feet.

Hope you are doing well overall! Take care!

I love wearing my binder when I am standing, like doing dishes or something. It is bothersome for up and down sitting. I have the hardness but on one side and doc said it will not be noticeable after time.... he also mentioned the "hang" can be worked on later with exercise *wink*
