Weird Discharge Post-Op... Please Read

Hi,

I am new to the site. My doctor recommended this site through a pamphlet she gave me to help with questions. I currently use vivelle dot patches. I have several questions, but I wanted to introduce myself first...

I am one month post-op LAVH (everything's gone) & I am having grayish stretchy material coming from my vagina when I wipe.

I went to my doctor earlier this week for spotting & for her to check my cuff. I called her but I got the answering svc w/ a doctor I don't know & she told me it could be sutures. She said if I wasn't in pain, just to wait & call my regular doctor Monday. I don't really think that is what it is because of the size of the pieces. Anyone know what this could be? Should I wait until Monday? Should I be worried?

i am sorry that i can't help you but someone will soon- i wouldn't be too worried if you are in no pain and no bleeding- but i didn't experience anything like this..... i hope you find an answer soon-

Personally, it sounds like stitches. I've passed a few grayish string things. I know they were stitches. I had my TVH five days before you.
