No Control now

As of yesterday I have lost all bladder control. I peed on 2 outfits and I'm completely heartbroken. I had such a bladder blockage after my LAVH. When they took out my cath I could not pee and my bladder was completely full. Finally right before they were going to recath me I felt a huge burst and a blood clot and then all the urine came rushing out.
That was back in 2005. Now here I am in 2009 and Monday I had pain like I was cramping and I don't have cramps anymore LOL. Then yesterday I was playing around with my son and I just peed and could not stop it. Then last night I was laying in bed and I laughed at my husband and just gushed. I am so upset. So I called my doctor here in TN (my LAVH was in OK) and so on Monday I have to go to a Urologist and see what is wrong.
Anyone going through this also? I'm 32 and just completley heartbroken. I don't want to move right now for fear I will pee. It is embarrassing.

Emily I have not had that problem but I did have fistula and had no control over bladder leaked from vagina. It sounds kinda like stress incontience but I do not now. Please try not to worry and see what dr says t will be ok. Prayers with ya

Thank you I just wanted to find someone I could relate with. =( My husband is leaving for Iraq next Tuesday and now this is happening. I am stressing already so I just wanted to read what others have said have found help. I'm trying not to worry my husband so I guess I wanted to release it here =)

There are medications that can help with stress and urge incontinence. Hopefully one of those will work for you! You and your husband will be in my prayers.

Definatly talk to your dr about it. It would bother me too if I was in your situation. Where at in TN are you located?

I have been having the same issues with my urine leaking when I cough, sneeze or make sudden movements. I can be very stressful. I have not yet had my TAB/BSO. I am scheduled to have my hysterectomy on 12/17/09. My doctor and nurses have assured me that my TAB/BSO will fix the problem. They are saying that my uterus is enlarged and pushing on my bladder. I hope they are right, since I am tired of worrying if I am going to pee myself. I have been wearing pads for extra protection. I wish you all the luck at your upcoming Urologist visit. Have you had your Fistula repaired? Any problems?

Yes I had my repair in June. So far so good!! I do have a little twinges of pain from time to time but I am dry
