HELP-12 weeks post op feel as if I have been "kneed in the privates" v uncomfortable

Hello - don't know how to explain this awfully uncomfortable sensation I am now experiencing. Feels like being kneed in the privates or as if you have been riding a horse for a day after never being on one before.

Am back at work - and am more or less doing everything houseworkey/driving/cooking etc. but it is so uncomfortable - even feels like this upon waking up. Keep checking to see if there is any discharge (there isn't) or that something internally is falling out between my legs.

Has anyone else experienced this "sensation" am quite worried !!!!!

Take care everyone x

Hi, I can relate to what you are describing perfectly. I had surgery on September 25th, but I am still feeling this "groin" and "pubic bone" pain - along with inner thigh "pulling" type sensations. I wondered if it was ligament healing pain, but my surgeon did not think so. He thought more likely to positioning injury (I hear we are put in very extreme poses).

I also have a lot of hip/spine pain, but have had those issues pre-surgery.

I wish I could give you a great solution to the problem, but for me it's been ongoing self-massage of the legs, hips, groin and belly that calms it some.
Seems to return though - so I'd be interested in others opinions on this type of pain 8+ weeks out.

Be Well!

Thankyou so much for that Ris 1231 - glad to know I am not alone. Feeling quite on a high previously going back to work and all the routine things that I can now do and then WHAM - this awful sensation.

Think my husband is well and truly losing patience with me as have been in tears over this - and no doubt with everyone else - has Christmas events coming up where not only do you have to "sparkle" LOL but also cope.

Oh well - hope to hear if other ladies have had anything similar to this! - best wishes.

Take care.

Hi (((Tumble)))

I think that it would be a good idea to let your doctor know that this is going on. It may just be a part of your healing processs, but maybe they will want you to ease up on your activities. Hope you find an answer very soon so that you can get your holiday tasks accomplished!
