ready and wishing it were 12/29 already

Today I came home from work early. I am so crampy and bloated and bleeding so heavily that it takes so much effort to just stand up straight much less function as a teacher. This is probably one of the worst months I have had and I just keep telling myself if all goes as planned, this is my last period. Surgery is 12/29 and, right now in this moment, it can not come soon enough.

I am sorry you're feeling bad right now. I also remember those days where it just seemed impossible to do anything more than lie on the couch with a heating pad.

Try to get some good this weekend if you can. Sending wishes for a successful surgery and easy, speedy recovery.

Bix - I'm just over 3 weeks from my TAH/BSO (horizontal incision) and although I'm still recovering from that surgery, it is already better. I would have been in the same boat as you right now if I still had "the parts" - definitely not missing the 150 lb feeling uterus and feeling so bloated that I could barely bend over .... the 'period panties' ... the black pants ... white cotton sheets that I can bleach .... etc, etc, etc.

Good luck with your upcoming surgery!
