TAH: Pain in my hip and left leg

Hello everyone! Has anyone had pain in their leg and hip? I am scheduled for surgery Jan 11th and I am in a lot of pain. I have two fibroid tumors.

I love your user-name, by the way! Like you, I had an enlarged fibroid uterus that caused pain similar to what you describe. In fact, it was so bad that my family physician precribed me pain medication while I was awaiting my surgery date.

I have had unexplainable pain in my left hip and leg, so bad it hurts to sleep on that side. I don't have large cysts or fibroids on that side at all. Hopefully our pain will go away after surgery!

thanks for even thinking to ask the question! My hips have been hurting for a few years now (about as long as I've had the other pains). I had not associated the hip pain with it until I read your question! We will see what transpires after surgery!

I also want to thank you for this question! I developed pain in my right hip about six months ago, and found out a month ago that I've got a cyst on my right ovary, and numerous fibroids. My doctor didn't mention that they might be related, but it would make sense.

I also have a pain in my right hip and leg sometimes it almost feels like there is something pressing up on the inside of the hip bone.

Keep me posted about the pain post surgery. I am scheduled in early January - best of luck to everyone!

i am so glad you brought this up. i thought this was connected but i also thought this was all in my head. my surgery is on thursday and i hope we all feel better.
