Post Op Visits

What is the average timing of post op visits?

I am 16 days out and he has seen me twice already.
I did have complications during my TAH but I am wondering if this is normal? Or does my Gyne just really care about his patients? How early and often were you seen post op?

I'm not scheduled until 5 weeks unless I have any concerns. Surgery went very smoothly. I won't hesitate to call if I have any questions or insist on being seen if need be.

i had a TAH on oct 9th, i stayed in hosp for a week but had problems then home for 6 days back in for a week, so i so my gyno quit a bit she was great so i am not sure, but i went back to see her 2 weeks after again for check up, then saw her again yesterday, now they did blood tests, and am waiting to go to ultrasound to see y my pain is going up and up, to see if remaining ovary has to come out, but it was clean at surgery, so who knows...so since u too had problems, to me it is normal..

Same here (except LAVH)

I am 6 weeks post SAH BSO and had scheduled follow-up apointments at week 3 and week 6. I was also seen in the office for burning pain I was experiencing at week 2.
