2 Weeks Post Op - constant cervix "pressure"

Hi all of you wonderful women -

Boy, I'm not sure what I would have done without you and I'm trying to give back when I can and when I feel like I can give quality feedback.

Anyway, you know the cramping/pressure feeling you have when you're getting a pap smear? I'm feeling that non stop today. I was bored today and vacuumed so I hope I didn't do any damage. I had a LSH on 12/7, kept one ovary and my cervix. I didn't expect to feel this crappy and tired but this dull pain is bothersome. My post op is Wednesday so I'll be discussing many things with my doctor then but wanted to reach out to you all tonight (especially since I can't sleep tonight)

I had adhesions from a tubal ligation in 1981 that she had to correct so maybe that's got something to do with what I'm feeling?

Also, my belly button is driving me nuts. I had an alergic reaction to the steri strips and bandaids and wound up back at the doctors last week. When she removed the steri strips, she couldn't believe her eyes. It's gross, red, weepy, bleeding, still a bit today. I'm taking antibiotics and putting cort aid on the red spots. She said I was on the vere of a staph infection.

Oh, this has not been fun but thanks to you, I do have peace of mind at least.

You're going to have to avoid chores like vacuuming for a while. That pushing and pulling can take more out of you than you think.
