Shoulder/arm pain?

Okay now this is weird... not sure if it's related to the surgery or if I'm just falling apart LOL
My left shoulder hurts - B-A-D... pain shoots up into my neck on that side.
When I reach, stretch, etc. there's a "pins and needles" and sharp stabbing pain in the back of the upper arm.
Any suggestions - possibly due to i.v.? or like I said... just falling apart?!

Pinched nerve?
Strained muscle?

I've had a fair amount of physical therapy and have always been told to ice a painful area about 10 minutes at a time.

If it doesn't go away, call your doc!
