I'm going to be in trouble.

LSH, kept ovaries & cervix. I'm 6 weeks out 2morow. 6wk post op on 1/6.
Last week, I felt ready, had sex. Everything went just fine. No pain, no bleeding, just great. A couple nights later, again, same thing, no pain, no bleeding.

Last night, had sex, made me bleed. It went away immediately after, have had nothing since then. I wasn't swinging from the ceiling fan or anything, we've taken it easy. I've had a lot of gas issues. I'm a little sore, but I can't tell if it's gasiness rolling around or related to sex.

Anyone else experience this?
My doc is going to shake her finger at me!

Re: I'm going to be in trouble.

I doubt it you did anything.
I was approved for everything 3 weeks after. I'm also 6 weeks out and running and having sex with no problems. I did have some bleeding around week 4 that lasted almost a week. once in a while I'll get a pain where the uterus was but things are mostly good here. I never got a 6 week post op...just the 2 week one. But I feel great! it's nice to get back to living again!!!

Re: I'm going to be in trouble.

I don't think your doctor is going to be angry with you. It's been awhile since you have had sex and there is healing going on there, so I would expect there to be some pain the first few times and I've seen many women post they've had some bleeding afterwards.

Re: I'm going to be in trouble.

Mkleu -

Feeling fine and ready and being fine and ready are 2 entirely different things.

You aren't the first but your Dr. will be the one to tell you if you did something or not. Everybody's body and surgeries are a bit different.

I was held off for extra healing time and even after I was okayed I had some issues. I didn't think I needed the extra healing but my surgeon saw things that made him want to tell me to wait.

Hope all goes well at your Dr.s appt.
