Almost ready

I am almost ready for The big day. It's tomorrow. My house is almost clean. All the laundry is done. I painted my toe nails (can't let anyone see them unpainted haha) I still have to get everyones bags packed and get new socks. I did my will. Is there anything I am not thinking of that I need to do?

Re: Almost ready

You might want to check with your doc about the painted toenails. My instructions indicated to remove all nailpolish on fingers and toes.

Re: Almost ready

My instructions said as long as 1 finger on each hand doesn't have polish you're okay. You don't have to do will but I didn't want to leave my medical care up to my or dh's mom.

Did you pack chapstick?? Everyone says we really need it.

Best wishes for a successful surgery and easy recovery. Let us know how you are doing as soon as you're able to.

Re: Almost ready

I painted my toes red the night before surgery... I didn't have restrictions. It made me feel good to see my little red nails.

Good luck, tomorrow!

Re: Almost ready

Good luck tomorrow. I just found out I'm having the surgery yesterday and it's a week from tomorrow. I'm in a daze.

Re: Almost ready

I just got my pre op call from the hospital. I was told no nail or toe nail polish. I did do a good pedicure a few days ago-don't think I'll be bending over any time soon! Years ago I had a beautiful manicure before my due date. I ended up with a C Section and they took the polish off one nail. I remember telling the nurse I had just had a manicure and how upset I was!!
