CervCa: Cervical cancer found after hysterectomy

I had a hysterectomy on 8-27-09 due to having a lot of back pain which was due to an enlarged uterus. I had already had one ovary removed 2 years prior due to an endometrial cyst the size of a softball. Pathology did some tests after my surgery and found that I had a glandular cervical cancer from HPV. Due to not knowing in advance of my surgery they did not do a radical hysterectomy so I went thru 5 1/2 weeks of radiation therapy. I have just finished that a week ago. I did pretty well with it, but am pretty worn down now. During the treatments which were 5 days a week, I had 3 internal high dose treatments, those are not the most fun, but you do what is necessary. I would be happy to answer any questions that anyone has for me. My doctor told me 99% recovery, now I have to go back to the gyn oncologist for follow up. Fortunately it was in the very early stages.
