I have read a lot on here about using lube for dryness because of this lovely surgery we all have had. I wanted to give my two cents on lube.
There are many types of lube out there and some can actually dry you out or be very sticky. KY lube is the one that is most likely to help in drying you out. Silicone lube will not! It is not sticky, no perfumes and goes along way. Where I am from it can only be purchased in a sex shop and is more expensive then others. It is worth it!! (and a little goes a long way). If you are unsure what to buy ask the lady behind the counter at the shop.

do you know if you can buy silicone lubes in a drug store or any brand names! I think that's the most likely place I'll be looking!

I'm from canada and the only place to buy silicone lube is in a sex shop otherwise, it is KY in a drug store. there are many nice sex shops and lots of different brands names. if you are not comfortable and want to try silicone order on line.

Try a water based lube that works with your vaginal tissues!!! It works great!

my doctor's nurse told me to use Astroglide (purchased it at walgreens) because it's the closest to our natural mositure. It's worked for me so far so I haven't even tried anything else.
