Exclamation - endo/adeno and bladder control endo/adeno and bladder control

I'm wondering if anyone may know with adenomyosis or endometriosis, if there is any bladder control loss. I'm wetting myself a little everyday, and its embarassing. just enough to soak through the pants. I'm wondering if anyone else has had the problem, or what the likelihood of it being endo-related is. I've been pretty good about holding it in for the most part but today it seems like I had no control, and no feeling of any need to urinate, prior to the leakage. anyone know anything about it? or anything that may help?

Thanks *BRI*

Re: endo/adeno and bladder control

I'm currently being investigated by a urologist for the same problem. I have endo and adeno and am having leaking, stress incontinence, etc. The urologist ordered and MRI and a Urodynamics to diagnose the problem. I'll keep posted on here what comes up.

I hope your problem is fixable! I sure hate having accidents in front of my family. So embarrassing.

Re: endo/adeno and bladder control

I had this same issue since the last c section and thought it was from the surgery, use of a catheter etc as well as my own laziness (kegels are boring). Then in the lst year it became worse, but it was the least of my complaints. I had a LAVH and BSO on 12/1, and most of the bladder symptoms have resolved. Because of previous c sections, the bladder was adhered to the uterus (common). The pelvic floor was intact, so no muscle weakness as a cause. I'm hoping as the healing continues, the bladder symptoms will continue to resolve.

I'm not advocating a hysterectomy, but just givng my story. I hope you and your doctor can figure out the least invasive course of treatment.

Good luck and healing thoughts.

Re: endo/adeno and bladder control

After my hyst the issue of damp panties was resolved until my endo recurred. During my second surgery endo was excised from my bladder. Since then I have enjoyed dry panties.
