LSH: Oh No! I've been hit with the stomach flu

I was in the ER last night for rehydration and antinausea meds...needless to say my surgery for tomorrow is cancelled.

Rescheduled for March 5th, can't believe I have to go through with the wait again...ugh!

So sorry to hear that. But, it is best and safest for you. Sorry you have to wait so long for another appointment. Could you ask to be put on a waiting list, in case someone else has to cancel?

I have the most wonderful doctor. He just called to see how I am doing and said that March is too long for me to wait. He is going to check his schedule and might be able to get me in next friday instead.

So sorry you've been sick. What a bummer on top of everything else. I'm glad your doctor is trying to fit you in sooner than March 5th. This waiting is the pits and for you to have to wait twice is really stressful! Good luck!!

I would be just HEARTBROKEN. That barfing smiley just about sums it up!
But that's VERY cool of your doctor.
I have this weird fear that something like that will happen to me. I just want the next 4 weeks to fly by so nothing stops me from getting my life back!

I am actually 2 weeks post op now. I had my surgery on jan 22nd. Doing great, recovery is a little longer that I had anticipated, but each day I feel better and better.
Actually, I came down with a cold today thank god I'm 2 weeks out because the sneezing is killing my stomach!
