yeast infections?

I now have a yeast infection and am 4 months post-op from a TAH. I was never prone to yeast infections before my surgery.

My question is this.... Is this typical? Am I going to have to worry about more? And, if I become sexually active, is this going to become an issue that I need to be concerned with?....ok, that was more than one question.

Other than this issue, my recovery has been tremendous. I am back to all normal activities and my surgery never slowed me down a bit.:shape:

Have just been wondering if I will need to be more aware of this in the future or if it was just a fluke.

I think the infection is just a fluke. I am 9 mts post and had prob. with yeast infections directly after surgey caused by all the antibiotics. I havent had any more since. Do let you dr know about this they now have a 1 time pill to cure yeast infec. But do be very awar of what is going on with you body and watch fo any more infections so you can catch them from the starts(less pain that way) Marci
