PT for bladder issues? Anybody tried it?

Went to the GYN today for urodynamic results....and I failed AGAIN despite my TOT. He said that he is in touch with a specialist in another city as another surgery would be more difficult. He suggessted PT to see if that won't help. Anybody have PT and if so, did it work? He wasn't too optimistic....but said it would help strengthen things should I decided to have him go in and try to fix things.

Re: PT for bladder issues? Anybody tried it?

I'm currently going to a physical therapist for pelvic pain, and it has been helping.(no bladder issues) The therapist specializes in pelvic floor issues including bladder. It couldn't make anything worse to try it and it might even help.
Are you seeing a urogynecologist?

Thanks sodapopper, i also have IC, and i'm hoping it will address that as well.
My original doc that did the sling was a urogynecologist, but it's my GYN who I've been back to. The urogyn was too busy to listen and i got frustrated. However, my GYN works with another urogyn in a larger city and is consulting with him on me

I can relate to that, my gyn/once blew off my pain as 'scar tissue', and my regular gyn said to wait a year, I should feel better. I saw the nurse practitioner at my cancer clinic and she listened and prescribed PT after checking where the pain was.
