forgot to stop ibuprofin before surgery. Surgery in 2 days.

I just realized in the preop instructions they gave me three months ago at my consultation that I was supposed to stop takeing ibuprofin 10 days prior to surgery due to possible bleeding problems. My surgery is in 2 days! i was already worried. Does anyone know if I will have to reschedual. I am haveing a full laprocsopic hysterectomy. They are takeing everything out.

It's quite possible that you may be told to reschedule your surgery, but only your doctor can make that decision. Try to reach your doctor tonight. His answering service should be able to contact him for you. Best wishes, and big
