12 days post lavh with post. repair, pain posteriorly

I had my lavh w/post repair on 1/26/10. My biggest challenge immediately after surgery was bladder issues, which is still somewhat of an issue--bladder just doesn't empty well and I feel like I'm sitting on the potty so frequently. Now, posteriorly is the biggest complaint. I feel like I need to have a bm nearly all the time, yet I know I shouldn't . I haven't been eating much and I've been taking stool softeners. The right side of my pelvic floor hurts a lot more than the left side. I can't sit on the toilet in a normal position and feel like I have to support my right buttock when I'm walking. However, it actually seems to help to contract the muscles in that area. Anyone else experienced this? Could it be an internal hemorrhoid or something not healing right? As far as the abdominal incisions and abdominal discomfort--it is essentially none. I have been up too long at times, I know (I went on a 2.5 hour field trip with my son's school at post-op day 10 and we stood quite a bit). Also, I'm a physical therapist and do quite a bit of heavy lifting (on patients). I'm expected to go back to work at 6 weeks post-op and I"m nervous about that. Let me know your thoughts.
