Bleeding 3 weeks postop

I had a complete hysterectomy using the daVinci robot 3 weeks ago tomorrow. I have no cervix. I have had spotting since surgery but it picked up about a week ago. It is bright red. It usually does not come out on my pad but is present on the toilet tissue. I was to the doctor on Friday and said things look fine.

How long does this bleeding last? I had a hysterectomy so I wouldn't bleed anymore. I feel great; I just see blood.

I've had a similiar experience. I had spotting the first week after surgery, then it all stopped. Then yesterday I got groceries with my DH, then was feeling pretty good, so I walked very slowly on my treadmill for 10 minutes. Then last night had much more pain "inside" and started spotting again, bright red. It really scared me, but it stopped again today. So, I searched this website and it seems like this is a pretty common occurrence when you overdo it. I think it's our body's way of telling us to take it easy.
