Abdominal incision query

Good Morning ladies! I can't believe that it has been a whole week since my surgery. I'm feeling pretty good this morning, took my shower and actually shaved my legs..whew! My staples were removed last week Thursday and the Dr put me on some antibiotics due to a little pus and a foul smell, yucky! Other than the normal aches & pains and feeling tired, I'm doing okay. Question to you ladies with an abdominal incision...how in the heck do you keep it dry down there? My incision is under my belly flab, I put a maxi pad under there, but it seems to shift. Any suggestions would be great! Good recovery to you all! Remember...WE CAN DO THIS!!
