Its a go on Monday.

Just got off the phone with the pre-registration people at the hospital. My surgery is pre-authorized by insurance, the room is booked and I am all set. I am the first procedure of the day on Monday so I have to arrive @ 5:30 AM with surgery scheduled @ 7:30.

I have been a nervous wreck all week but after getting the call from the hospital I actually am feeling relief that all of the effort and energy to prepare for this is not going to be wasted on having a cancellation/postponement.

I am meeting some friends for a wine tasting this evening and will be presenting them with my leftover tampons. (Won't need those anymore...woohoo!). They are all also getting a little gift basket from me thanking them in advance for all the help they have extended to me and my family for the next several weeks. I don't have very many friends but those that I do have are awesome!

Coffee, I have my pre-op in the morning, I am scheduled for Tuesday. I'm glad that you are feeling a bit more relaxed now. Good Luck, and I will be thinking about you on Monday.
