3 weeks post-op, painful and bloody urine

I had a TAH on 3/11. Since then, peeing has been painful. I say my doctor last week and he said it is probably spasms and will pass. Tonight, I had blood in my urine. freaking out. will call him tomorrow, but anyone had this happen? He said there was no infection last week.

Bladder spasms hurt terribly.... made bikini incision hurt far worse. they caught a bladder infection with me and the bladder spasms stooped 2nd day of antibiotics.
Are you still spotting.. could it be blood from that? If not, you are not suppose to ever have blood in your urine and urethra infections are harder to detect because the urine isn't in contact with the urethra long enough to pick up the bacteria to make the test positive.

Call the Dr and tell them your symptoms........what wasn't there on test last week could be there this week.
