Angry - can't keep my estrogen where it needs to be.... can't keep my estrogen where it needs to be....

when I do more physically and try to walk (thats my exercise) My estrogen feels like its dropping. I start to feel like I leak a little bit, vaginal area feels burny, feel more tired instead of energetic because of the exercise. I am on climara patches, nat. prog., vagifem and even a boost of estrogel and can't seem to keep my estrogen up where it needs to be.
The levels seems to recover when I don't do a whole lot physically. I'm trying to drop about 5-8 lbs. then when I start again, there it goes again.

I did ask my new gyn last summer if he would change me to something else like estring and the patches and he politely declined ( 2 nd one to do this) saying if I feel ok on the climara its best not to switch. I wish i could have !! my problem has been that climara is the only patch I felt *normal* on , prob. because its made from soy. I have tried 2 others. This is vexing. don't like this jungle.

Re: can't keep my estrogen where it needs to be....

Hi Ann,

I know how you feel, I couldn't hold on to any pills, cremes, vaginal rings, ect, and resorted to pellets. I feel I did the right thing as it brings my E up nicely, but after a while, it starts to drop, especially if I am active. I went from a blood level from 181 to 100 all in 3 weeks time!! Now I feel like poop again and have to get more inserted on Tuesday.
