Benign, benign, benign..o happy day!!!

As many of you know, my family carries two of the four sets of genes for colon cancer, and I have had three brothers with colon cancer at an early age, and my cancers were related to the gene.

A week and a half ago, I had my colonoscopy and the doctor found a polyp and a "suspicious fold" in the colon that he biopsied. This was my third colonoscopy (I have to have them every two years) but the previous times I was given an immediate "all clear." I have been waiting for the results, and got them today:

BOTH AREAS BENIGN, NO SIGNS OF CANCER!!!!!


I've been so worried, although I knew that if it was cancer it would be at an early stage. Oh my gosh, I feel like I'm walking on air.

Thank you ladies for your words of encouragement...I'm going to fix myself a nice big drink (and I don't drink very much) and relax the rest of the night!!!
