Pain on Left side

Hi ladies. I haven't visited for awhile. I had both ovaries removed in October 2000 and October 2001. I have had off and on problems but was doing okay. I started running last year and ran my first half marathon. I noticed pain in my left hip and thought it may be due to not stretching well.

I went walking with a friend who just had an LAVH on the 6th so I was offering some support. I noticed horrible pain in my left hip and have had it since our walk. I am now also getting twinges of pain in my lower left quadrant. I go for my pap next week and I know I have fibroids. I was doing weight watchers and really doing well on my weight loss but am now gaining back again.

Am I wasting a good panic or are there specific questions I should ask the doctor when I go next Tuesday?

Hi, As hip pain can have so many causes perhaps you might want to check in with your PCP too. Of course you will mention this and the lower left quadrant pain when you go for your pap. I hope they can find the cause and you get relief soonest. Pls keep us posted.
