Almost 12 weeks and living in bathroom!!

It's been almost 12 weeks since my surgery and my intestional distress seems to be getting worse instead of better!! At first I thought the bloating, gas, stomach cramping after eating, loud gurgling noises and having to go 4 to 6 times a day was normal after my surgery, but it seems to be getting worse not better. I will have a few days where things are almost normal and then the loose and frequent bms start all over again! Anyone else dealing with this? Should I call my doctor? I am going to try the BRAT this week and cut out caffiene and artificial sweeteners and see if that makes a difference. Any other suggestions? HELP I am running out of reading material and it makes leaving the house not fun and I am killing alot of trees by using so much TP!!

I'm glad you're otherwise good, and pleased with the surgery. But do tell your Dr about this, its beyond a minor post op glitch at 12 wks. I know they gave me intra op antibiotics and that affected me, but not that long. Probiotics and yogurt might help a bi, if you're not already trying it. Good luck and hope ita an easy fix.
